conveniently close to town's top attractions and parks

Staying here gave me the chance to easily explore the Andy Griffith Museum and enjoy a lovely stroll through the nearby Mayberry Antique Mall, both of which are less than 3 km away and perfect for a weekend adventure. the hotel is a comfortable spot with all the basics you need for a short stay.

The air conditioning unit lacked maintenance, with an open cover allowing unfiltered air into the room, and the filthy filter hole made it clear that hygiene wasn't a priority. The shower curtain had visible mold, and the tub showed many old cigarette burns around the rim. Overall, the bed felt excessively soft, offering no firmness for a good night's sleep.

Upon arrival, the office was locked despite an "open" sign, leaving us unable to check in after a long drive. Attempts to reach staff by phone went unanswered, causing significant inconvenience. However, upon speaking with them later, I learned they offered great assistance and had very clean, comfortable accommodations with a nicely updated bathroom. The price was quite reasonable, especially for our group needing multiple rooms.
